THE CONCEPTThe concept for this styled shoot by Confetti & Co Events was nothing short of a masterpiece, blending the allure of European romance with a modern edge that added a touch of sophistication. Masonmill's French gardens, a lush expanse of greenery and blossoms, served as the dreamy backdrop for a celebration that transcends time.
THE GOWNSHarriette Gordon's gowns, epitomes of modern romanticism, graced the shoot with their presence. Each dress encapsulated femininity, spirit, and depth, elevating the atmosphere to a realm of timeless beauty.
THE FLOWERSFlorist, Bohemian Flower Collective create two bouquets for each look. The first was a simple posie of daisys while the second was a harmonious blend of hydrangeas, roses and daisies. Dusty blues, natural greens, whites, soft yellows intertwined seamlessly in the colour palette, creating a harmony of hues that danced through the floral arrangements.
STYLING & DECORAs the sun cast its golden glow over Masonmill Gardens, the furniture from Hire Black Label Event provided a sophisticated setting for the celebration. Tailored Table's exquisite tablecloth and napkins added a touch of refinement, setting the stage for an intimate gathering of love and joy.
Caduree Candles flickered softly, casting a warm and intimate glow, while Brellico's umbrellas added a whimsical touch to the affair. Creative Line and Co's stationary bore witness to the details of love, capturing the essence of the couple's journey. Pink Orchard Cakes crafted delectable masterpieces, and Side Serve provided the tableware that seamlessly blended with the overall aesthetic.
Champagne Towers Perth brought an air of celebration with their stunning champagne tower, a beacon of bubbly effervescence that mirrored the joyous atmosphere of the occasion.
BEAUTYThe bride radiated an effortless charm, her natural and captivating beauty enhanced by the skilled hands of Pretty Parlour's hair and makeup artists.
FILM PHOTOGRAPHYIn an effort to infuse the imagery with a nostalgic, light, and timeless aura, a meticulous blend of digital, medium format film and 35mm film formats were used. Harnessing the distinct characteristics of each medium, I ensured that every frame encapsulated the essence of romance and elegance. The great natural light offered by Masonmill Gardens gently highlighting the intricate details of the scene. Yet, it was the judicious use of the 35mm film camera, paired with Kodak Porta400 film stock, that added a touch of whimsy and depth to the visual narrative. The occasional flash images from the 35mm camera punctuated the soft glow of the surroundings, capturing fleeting moments of magic in a timeless embrace. Together, these elements wove a tapestry of emotion, transporting viewers to a world where love knows no bounds, and memories are etched in the golden hues of nostalgia.
